There is a critical need for items to fill welcome kits
Refugee families arrive in Tulsa with next to nothing, ready to start their new lives.
Help them rebuild by putting together a Welcome Kit that will provide them with essentials to restart their life with hope and dignity.
There are 4 ways to help with donations:

Order directly from assembled wishlists from Amazon or Walmart for each Welcome Kit and have it shipped directly to the Rising Village Office (7225 S 85th E Ave # 400. Tulsa, OK 74133)

Buy your items and assemble yourself in a bin and drop off at the Rising Village Office (see below for instructions.)

Bring new or gently used items and furniture from our list to the Rising Village Office

Sponsor a kit, by giving a financial gift for the equivalent amount

These are the items that are in critical need right now.
* items marked with an asterick must be brand-new or very-good condition.
HOW TO CREATE A WELCOME KIT

Select a welcome kit category.

Collect or purchase all items from the list.

Please include only items in good condition or NEW items

Pack the items in a sturdy box or clear plastic bin with a lid. (Oversized items can be included separately.)

Label the lid and the sides of the container with the Welcome Kit name.

Include an encouraging handwritten note to welcome the family toTulsa!

Other items accepted
Singular items from the lists above are also accepted.
Items can be bought, collected, or from your home. They must be clean and in good condition.
For items marked with an asterisk (*), they must be brand new or in great condition for sanitation purposes.
We are also in need of:

New car seats or booster seats

New queen or twin mattresses

New or gently used furniture (metail bed frames, dining room tables and chairs, sofas, floor lamps, end tables, and dressers.
Please keep in mind, these donations are being given to real people. If it's not in a quality that would be safe or comfortable for you to use, it's best to leave it out. Thank you!
I have a bunch of stuff not on the list, should I drop it off?
We are grateful for your generousity, and kindly request that you stick to the requested items above since those are most critical.
We have limited volunteers to sort and distribute donations and storage to keep everything, and need to prioritize the essentials that people need to build their new start.
